On Tuesday 16th
August 2011, I was diagnosed with multiple cancers, with a very poor
prognosis. On Thursday 25th
August 2011, my diagnosis was changed to offer me a realistic hope of a
cure. I felt the need to
capture my thoughts in this blog. Although primarily for me, this may
prove to be helpful to other people who find themselves in a similar
situation. Some of these entries will be very boring, little more than a
diary of activities. I would like to think that others will have more
significant content.
These blog entries unashamedly reflect my Christian Faith and trust in God.

How am I
now?
Updated on 7th July 2012
The good news is that the outcome is as good as I could possibly have
hoped for.
My oncologist has told me that I have no current indications of residual
cancer, no active growths and none of the inflammation indicators in my
blood. That does not mean that the cancer has gone; there may be cells
hiding around.
So for the foreseeable future, I will have regular checks outs so that
if it does recur it will be picked up and treated quickly.
While I am not back to full health, I am back to full time working and
have resumed all of my activities in the world of swimming. In the last
few months, I have travelled to San Francisco, Hawaii, Cannes, Alaska,
Hong Kong and China.
Points for Prayer
Thanks for a miraculous recovery.
Others that we know who are going through difficult times.
