A New Banner for Hampshire

I slept well, so dispensing with the wedge pillow has not caused me any problems. The strange pain in my legs that I had yesterday was not there this morning.

The first task of the day was a trip to Winchester to pick up a new banner to be used by the Hampshire team at the Inter County Competition in Sheffield on Sunday from Tom Martin of Southampton Diving Academy who arranged for the banner to be produced. We arranged to meet him in the car park at Tesco just off junction 9 of the M3.

Driving down the M3 we were struck by how beautiful the green Hampshire countryside looked in the bright sunshine. It was a day with lots of sun and hardly a cloud in the sky.

I spent the afternoon and quite a lot of the evening working, before stopping to prepare for the trip to Sheffield tomorrow morning, and to thank God for such a great week.

In the late evening, we got quite a disappointing e-mail. The teen aged girl who I have mentioned before with a stubborn wound which refuses to heal has not made any progress (medically) this week. She is however getting slightly more mobile which is good news. We continue to pray for her every day.
