Rhine Valley Ruins of the hostile brothers Castles 09-Aug-1975 Castles Sterrenburg (left) and Liebenstein (right) date from the 12th century. They were owned by two bothers who quarrelled over a woman. Ultimately a high wall was built between the two castles which now both contain restaurants.
