On Wednesday night, we decided to have a decent Japanese meal. The guide on the tour of Kyoto offered some recommendations, however when we went to look, we found a whole series of down-market noodle and Italian style restaurants.
We seemed to walk a long way, and were just making for the taxi rank near the station to return to the Hotel,when we found exactly what I was looking for, a Shabu-Shabul restaurant in a hotel near the station.
This photograph shows that Sue had mastered the use of chopsticks.
