The Upper Gate - The stone façade was built in 1586-1588 by the Flemish architect Willem vn den Blocke who had settled in Gdansk. The classical composition recals Renaissance arches in Italy. The decot of the upper part is in Dutch style. The gate incorporates a composition of coats-of-arms of Gdansk, Royal Prussia and in the centre, Poland.
