View of the smaller tower from the other tower (this newer tower is the bell tower) . The figure by the tower is the famous Krakow bugler. One of the historical stories about Krakow concerns the bugler who was shot at his post and thus stopped playing half way through a bar. Now every hour a bugler plays from the tower of St. Mary's Cathedral and stops at the same point in the music. This is also used as the call sign for the local radio and TV stations.
