(Left): Class Ty2 heavy freight 2-10-O locomotive. This is the most common type of locomotive left in Poland and is used for freight trains and also for shunting duties in stations, where there is insufficient modern motive power to do the job. (Right) 4-6-2 locomotive of type _. This type of locomotive is still often seen on main line passenger duty although very rarely on expresses.
