Miyajima Path through the trees 17-Aug-1997 There is a two stage gondola and cable-car leading to one of the highest points on the island. It starts some way above sea level, reached either by an overcrowded bus, or by a 20 minute uphill walk starting in the streets of the town and finishing with this path through the trees and a long flight of stairs.
