Hasedera Temple - Coloured carp in the ornamental pond

The Hasedera (or Hase Kanon) Temple is set on a hillside overlooking Kamakura. It is named after the large bronze multi-headed/multi-armed statue of the Buddha.

A feature of the temple garden at Hasedera was the insect kingom equivalent of the Boeing 747. This photograph really doesn't convey the size of these impressive dragon flies.
