28-Jul-2000 Seattle - Lake Union Flying boat taking off Waiting to dock at the end of the ferry trip (there was another boat at the berth) it was fascinating to watch the coming and going of float planes. Kenmore AAir operates a pretty intensive service from Lake Washington. It is suprising that planes landing and taking off can co-exist with boats without mishap.
