Slimbridge Flamingos Late August 1973 - Slimbridge is a wildlife reserve, in Gloucestershire North of Bristol on the banks of the River Severn. It was founded by Peter Scott. It boasts a wide selection of native and unusual species of bird. One of their achievements is a high success in branding famingos.
