Haifa

Our trip to the modern city of Haifa was very short. We drive past the dock area and then towards the Bahai temple, centre of the worldwide Bahai religion, with the intent of a walk through the hanging gardens.

The temple was closed, so what we got instead was a few minutes at a scenic outlook high above the port and city. As you can see, the tablets prescribed by the doctor in Kfar Giladi worked pretty well and Sue was feeling much better, if not 100%.

We did get glimpses of the temple through the trees ...
... but the overwhelming impression was of a busy modern port.
