Installation
Some Windows systems files are present in all of the download installation files. These may result in messages during installation:
File is in use .. IGNORE this error
File on system is newer than that being installed .. KEEP the existing file
Online Capture Module
Currently only OMEGA ARES 21 and OSM6 systems are supported
Gala Recording Module
The maximum number of teams in a competition is currently 15.
In a 10 lane pool, the system expects lanes to be numbered from 1 to 10.
The module does not currently pass disqualification messages to the Announcer console.
The module does not handle equality of times correctly. Manual correction of the places and possibly the points is necessary in this situation.
When returning to correct the results of an event the total points displayed are the total points for the gala, not the cumulative points up to the event being displayed.
Announcer Module
The system relies on the use of a shared database across a network. In the event of a network failure (especially when using Wireless Networks) there may be unpredictable errors.
