Camrose Community Group
To all residents of Camrose Way, Camwood Close, Camlea Close, Farleigh Rise and Camberry
Close. In this time of crisis, I would like to invite you to join up to
a self-help “WhatsApp” group, which will allow us all to communicate,
encourage and help one another. For those of you who are not familiar with WhatsApp, WhatsApp
Messenger is a FREE messaging app available for smartphones. It allows
members of a closed group to call each other and send and receive messages,
photos etc. This will be particularly valuable for people who have been
directed to stay in self-isolation. Why am I doing this? I have lived in Camrose Way for 30 years and realise that I know
very few other people in the area well enough to know how this crisis is
likely to impact them. If you would like to join, go online to and complete a very
simply questionnaire (there are only 6 questions) at shorturl.at/oqtxT Alternatively, please feel free to send me your name, address and mobile number to 07472 703700 or just give me
a call. If you don’t have a Smart Phone or
don’t want to use WhatsApp, the community is still here to support you if you
need something. Send me a text or an e-mail to mgl414513@gmail.com and I will forward
it to the group. Mike and Sue Lambert We live at 79, Camrose Way. As we are both in our 70s, we are
deemed to be at risk and are following the advice to remain in social
isolation. That does mean that we are not in a position to provide much in
the way of practical help, but we are able to listen
and we can help facilitate this group. For us social isolation does not mean that we are house bound.
We are blessed with a lot of open spaces nearby where we can walk without
getting close to others and we do have pour little dog Peanut to make sure
that we take advantage of them. |
